Kesari 2 box office collection in North America reached US $784,270 by Sunday evening. The film earned US $543,378 in its first two days and US $240,892 on its third day.
That total equals roughly Rs 6.69 crore, approaching the Rs 7 crore threshold. In India, Kesari 2 box office total stood at Rs 29.75 crore after its first three days.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film adapts Raghu and Pushpa Palat’s book The Case That Shook the Empire. It reexamines the trial of Sir C. Sankaran Nair against Michael O’Dwyer over the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
